Thankfully, the central PAS has chosen Bintulu, Sarawak to host the Malaysia Day 2019 celebration held on September 16 this year.
The theme for this year’s Malaysia Day celebration was “Love My Malaysians: Malaysia Clean.”
This theme was chosen because it symbolizes the unity of the multiracial people who love the country for harmony and prosperity while cultivating and instilling a sense of integrity and a clean, high-quality Malaysian identity.
The uniqueness of ethnic diversity in Sarawak has been recognized as a model that promotes harmony and racial unity.
They can live in peace together without problems even if they have multiple customs and beliefs.
Land of the Hornbill, known for its ethnic diversity has never raised the issue of racism among the various ethnic groups in Sarawak.
The model of unity and harmony in the land of the hornbills should be promoted at the international level to help Malaysia out of the tragedy of racial tension that can damage the name of the country.
The unity and harmony between the races are the keys to the political stability that leads to economic sustainability in a country.
Do not allow customary land and indigenous rights to be taken over by foreigners although at first, they came to invest but in reality, our land was increasingly controlled by outsiders. Make sure our rights are not under the control of foreigners, and we will be re-colonized.
Happy Malaysia Day, may we be free from being colonized again
Yours faithfully,
