The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas announced on Friday evening that it has agreed to restore calm with the Israeli Occupation following its aerial offensive against the Gaza Strip.

In a press release on Saturday dawn, the Hamas spokesperson Fawzi Barhom said, “With Egyptian and United Nations efforts, it has been agreed to return to the previous period of calm between the Israeli Occupation and the Palestinian resistance.”

It’s worth mentioning that the Israeli Occupation launched dozens of air strikes across the coastal enclave that left 4 Palestinians killed and more than 120 wounded.

Despite agreeing to a ceasefire with the Palestinian resistance, the Israeli Occupation broke the truce after shelling an observation post north of the Gaza Strip. No casualties were reported.
