According to one of the people who lived there said they had complained this problem to the Miri City Council (MCC) but so far no action has been taken by the parties concerned to resolve it.
Due to no action taken by the relevant authorities causing stagnant water and contaminated with impurities substances. Stagnant water and clogged drains can also cause flash floods if continuous rain.

Efforts to curb and control of dengue fever infection should be undertaken in cooperation with the relevant authorities and the local population by maintain cleanliness around their homes.
A duty of the authorities is to act immediately to any complaints from residents who face problems not only remain silent without any action.
We believe the government has a provision for addressing drainage issues with more frequent maintenance on the drainage system and also build concrete drains.
We urge the relevant authorities immediately perform maintenance of clogged drainage which often occurs in a residential area in Miri city.
We want Miri become a model or example of best cities in addressing drainage problems in Malaysia.
Do not let this problem persists without urgent action from the relevant authorities as housing residents feel uncomfortable with the situation of their residence that contaminated also car parking problems due to the non-concrete trench can be eroded due to rain.
We will continue to monitor people’s problems from time to time so that each of their complaints can be addressed immediately. Cooperation with relevant parties to resolve this issue is greatly appreciated.
