Night Market in Commercial Centre, Saberkas Miri become one of the attractions visitors from domestic and overseas when it visited Miri city. Saberkas Night Market began operating as early as Wednesday evening until Saturday.

Although the council has allocated RM400, 000 to install a canopy, but now after more than two years, the canopy that installed is torn and leaking when it rained recently. The existing roof is non-durable and can be easily damaged when exposed to rain and heat.
Many visitors complain when it rains the Night Market condition there is wet causing vendible also wet due to the canopy roof leaks when it rains.

We urge the council need to change the roof the Night Market with a stronger structure immediately so that it will ensure the comfort and safety of visitors and the hawkers there.
The night market that is organized, comfortable and safe for the hawkers and visitors will give a good image to tourists who visit Miri city.
Hope this gets immediate attention and action from the parties concerned. Cooperation with the relevant authorities to tackle the problem of the Night Market hawkers is very much appreciated.
Yours faithfully
