He said Pas had already launched its election machinery in Johor and was actively preparing in several targeted parliamentary and state constituencies.

“Pas is ready to contest in Johor… preparations at targeted state seat levels are progressing actively,” he said.

Tuan Ibrahim, who is also Perikatan Nasional deputy chairman, said party preparations were also gaining momentum in Negri Sembilan, where groundwork at various levels is being intensified.

He said discussions with various parties were ongoing as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation and support on the ground.

“InsyaAllah, the wave of Pas’ resurgence is gaining momentum and the launch of the state and division-level election machinery will be held in the near future,” he said.

He added that Pas remained optimistic about its prospects and would continue strengthening its grassroots machinery as preparations for both elections gathered pace.
