Statement by Hamas chief on Israeli occupation’s withdrawal from Jenin

After the Israeli occupation army withdrew from Jenin refugee camp with its tail between its legs, head of Hamas Political Bureau states the following:

First: We salute the Palestinian freedom fighters and residents of the camp for standing steadfast in the face of the Israeli aggression.

Second: All options to support Jenin camp are on the table. Resistance remains the strategic option for the Palestinian people to confront the Israeli aggression and end the occupation of Palestine.

Third: We sent a clear message to the Israeli occupation through all mediators that the Palestinian resistance everywhere was following up with the situation and demanded that the Israeli occupation put an end to its aggression immediately.

Fourth: Despite the fact that 11 Palestinian martyrs were killed and dozens more injured during the Israeli aggression against Jenin refugee camp, the Palestinian resistance has taught the Israeli occupation a lesson. Now it will think twice before attacking the Palestinian people.

Fifth: The time when the Israeli occupation attacks the Palestinian people without paying a price has long passed.
