This year PAS Miri have sacrificed total of 5 cattle in the vicinity of Miri and Lambir.
Among the area is in Kpg Masjid Kuala Baram, Miri Saberkas night market, Taman Tunku, Tukau Jaya and also in Bakong Lambir.
Response and cooperation of local residents against Miri PAS program had been very encouraging among the place where for the first time PAS organizes slaughter sacrifice cattle is at the Saberkas night market and also in Kampung Tukau Jaya.
According to one of the seller at the night market, this is a good program should be continued for Miri community to know PAS closer. Such cooperation is good practice because it is more beneficial to all.
A total of more than 500 packages of Qurban meat distributed to the local population around Miri and Lambir.
Throughout PAS activities with the people they got a pretty good response without any interference, this shows the people of Sarawak mature enough in accepting assistance regardless of their political affiliation.
PAS will continue to hold a variety of activities with the people throughout the year so that people can know the PAS closer regardless of race, religion and political affiliation.
Although now a problem of petrol price hike will definitely burden the low-income and rural population but PAS will stay with the people with provide assistance beyond what is available.
Program with you Sarawak will still continue to run throughout the year regardless of the time because the welfare of the people will continue to be a priority.
