Musyidul Am PAS Datuk Ustaz Hashim Jasin, 86, has been admitted to Hospital Tuanku Fauziah in Kangar for an unspecified condition.
This was announced on his Facebook page, accompanied by a call for special prayers to support his recovery.
It also said visits are not allowed for now due to his condition.
Ustaz Hashim was appointed the PAS spiritual advisor in 2016.
