The memorandum to be presented to the Prime Minister will be a complaint against the Atomic Energy Licensing Board (AELB) and the Minster for Science, Technology and Innovations (MOSTI) for failing in their public duty of care to exercise prudence to protect the children, the unborn and many future generations to come for issuing the relevant licences to facilitate Lynas to operate and dump toxic and radioactive waste near Kuantan.
Early last month in September, the AELB issued the temporary operating licence to Lynas Corporation. A week later it was discovered by the media that the AELB has also issued the import licence and the licence to dump waste for Lynas to start polluting our beautiful shore and hometown.
The mothers and their supporters will gather outside the Parliament for some actions starting from 3pm onwards. They will be available for media briefing and interviews in the Parliament as well.
