Khairy’s latest joke

BUKIT MERTAJAM: PAS should leave the Pakatan Rakyat government in Penang if the party is not rewarded with a state executive council position should it retain the Permatang Pasir state seat in the by-election, Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin said.

“If Pakatan is a true political coalition that appreciated the spirit of friendship and unity, it would offer PAS an exco seat,” he said.

“Barisan Nasional gave MIC and Gerakan a full minister’s post each in the Cabinet despite the two parties’ poor performance in the March 2008 general election.

“But in the case of Pakatan Rakyat, the DAP does not even care about PAS in Penang,” he claimed. Khairy was speaking after opening the Bukit Mertajam Umno division delegates conference at a hotel here yesterday.- The Star Online
