Moon cake is a Chinese bakery product traditionally eaten during the Mid-Autumn Festival (Zhongqiujie). According to Chinese belief, the festival is for lunar worship and moon watching, when moon cakes are regarded as an indispensable delicacy. Moon cakes are offered between friends or on family gatherings while celebrating the festival. The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the four most important Chinese festivals.
Moon cakes festival celebration will be held on 8th September this year, PAS Miri with DHPP (PAS Supporters Congress) Miri, has distributed moon cakes to the Chinese community in the vicinity of Senadin and also in Miri city. Distribution of moon cakes has been led by the Chairman of the DHPP Sarawak, Mr Yeo Kian Leong with the leadership of PAS Miri


The main purpose of DHPP founded is a way of communication and integration among the races and religions in this country so that they know the truth about PAS struggle. PAS is not extremist parties but Islamic party that unites all people regardless of color or faith.
When the Chinese community and non-Muslim know PAS closer, then all the accusations and slanders leveled by the political enemies of PAS will be answered when they know what the real struggle of PAS is.
We hope that more Chinese community and non-Muslims participation with PAS through their participation in the DHPP. Many community activities and welfare will be held when more and more Chinese community and non-Muslim with PAS.
PAS will continue to work together with all the various ethnic communities and religions in Sarawak to prove that PAS is a party that fighting for all regardless of race and religion.
PAS hopes that all the people especially in Sarawak able to accept well the coming of PAS in Sarawak without prejudice and fear. Let us work together for justice and give welfare to you Sarawak.
