Vietnamese Fishermen Seriously Injured In Fight

One of them was stabbed on the left rib and right thigh, while the other was injured on the head.

State Criminal Investigation Department head ACP K.Manoharan (picture) said the two injured fishermen, both in their 20s, had been sent to Sultan Nur Zahirah Hospital (HSNZ) for treatment and their condition was reported stable.

Following the incident, police had arrested six people and were looking for another three people, believed to be in hiding in Bukit Cendering, he told a media conference here Monday.

He said police had seized two machetes and an iron pipe, believed to have been used in the fight which occurred about 8am. – Bernama
