PAS has confirmed that the candidates for the two upcoming by-elections will be announced this Friday.
Speaking to reporters at Parliament lobby on Tuesday, PAS vice-president Idris Ahmad said the party would be making the announcement on the Kuala Kangsar and Sungai Besar candidates at the party headquarters on Friday night.
On claims by Opposition leader Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail that PAS was the reason behind the Pakatan Harapan presidential council meeting being delayed, Idris said the two issues were not related.
“If there was a dispute between a husband and a wife, the neighbour cannot get involved. In the same way, we cannot and will not get involved in their internal matters,” he said.
