KUALA TERENGGANU: Police have arrested 10 men to facilitate the investigation into the murder of former Alor Limbat assemblyman Alias Abdullah in October and the shooting case involving a man in Jalan Hiliran, Pulau Kambing, last August.
Terengganu police chief Datuk Rosli Ab Rahman said the 10 suspects, aged between 21 and 44, were picked up in several raids here and in Marang.
“We have also detained several other individuals believed to be involved in the shooting case involving a 28-year-old man in Jalan Hiliran, Pulau Kambing, here on Aug 27,” he said in a statement here today.
He said the remand order on all the suspects had also been extended until Nov 18 and 19 to facilitate further investigations.
Alias, 51, was shot dead at close range upon returning home from Friday prayers at ampung Alor Limbat, Bukit Payong,Marang at Oct. 9th.
