Miri PAS have visited the victims of a house razed at the Jalan Tai Foo hillside of kampung Luak recently. According to the residents Mr. Idros Hashim, the incident occurred around 9.30 am on 16th September ago has destroyed the house.
According to him, there are only two family members in the house during the incident. Fortunately, no untoward incidents happen to the occupant only furniture items and two motorcycle destroyed caught by fire because could not be saved.
He has also sought assistance from charitable bodies to ease the burden he bear, but there is no assistance received yet. We have given some assistance and daily essentials to ease the burden on his family.
Now he had to stay at his mother’s house at the kampung Luak while waiting for the construction of their new home to be rebuilt.
We urge the government to immediately extend assistance to Idros families to rebuild their destroyed home so that they can start a better life.
We also urges the relevant authorities to carry out the trust with honesty, sincerity in giving to every citizen regardless of race, religion and political affiliation.
Cooperation with the authorities to resolve the problem and ease the burden of the people regardless of skin color is very much appreciated.
