Rain put a damper on a group of protesters who came to the State Secretariat building to demand Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim to vacate his post, here, this morning.
A group of demonstrators arrived at about 10am but left the place after a few minutes to come back an hour later.
They however stayed in their cars and left the place without holding any demonstration about an hour later.
It was understood that former state executive councillor Ronnie Liu also turned up but he stayed in the building and did not come out because of the poor attendance.
“I saw him (Liu) arriving earlier this morning. Maybe he decided not to come out because they (protesters) have cancelled cancel the demonstration because of the rain,” said a security guard who refused to be identified.-NST
