Experts will be sent to Terengganu to evaluate the troubled construction industry there after the roof of a state mosque collapsed yesterday to become the latest such incident in the state, Works Minister Datuk Fadillah Yusof said today.
Fadillah added that the experts will complete their review by October on all aspects of the construction industry in the east coast state that has witnessed several mishaps involving mosques, as well as the RM300 million Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium.
“Hopefully, we can recommend to the government and industry players to practise good construction practice,” Fadillah told reporters at Parliament here today.
“We expect by October to complete, November – table to the ministry, and in December, interaction with all stakeholders,” he added.- themalaymailonline
