Perikatan Nasional (PN) will contest 12 seats in the 17th Sabah state election.

Pas vice-president Datuk Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah said discussions are currently ongoing with Bersatu and other component parties.

“We will contest 12 seats in the Sabah state election, and we are now in discussions with Bersatu and other allied parties.

“We hope that through the 12 seats we are contesting, we can win at least one seat to ‘break the egg’ (zero seat) in Sabah,” he said at the Kelantan Pas 70th Anniversary ‘Ceramah Umum’ tonight.

Earlier, the Election Commission (EC) announced that nomination day for PRN17 will be on Nov 15, followed by early voting on Nov 25 and polling day on Nov 29. – NST
