A major demonstration will be held to protest US president Donald Trump’s expected visit to Malaysia later this month, PAS deputy president Datuk Seri Ustaz Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man said in Parliament yesterday.
While debating the proposed Budget 2026 as the Kubang Kerian MP, Tuan Ibrahim referred to Trump’s upcoming visit.
“We firmly oppose his presence and we declare we will have a people’s rally, a big demonstration to protest the presence of Trump, who is considered a criminal who killed and sent weapons to Israel, who supported Israel’s violence,” he said briefly at the Dewan Rakyat.
Trump is expected to be in Malaysia during the Asean Summit, which will be held from October 26 to October 28.
Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan was reported on Tuesday saying that Trump would visit Malaysia on October 26, and said the US leader was looking forward to witnessing the signing of a ceasefire deal between Thailand and Cambodia.
