Seven civil servants declared bankrupt

He said, of the seven, two were in Group A category and had stood guarantor for borrowers.

“The majority of them had stood gurantor for the borrowers concerned who were unable to pay back the loans.

“Nevertheless, those who were declared bankrupt were not sacked. Instead, they were given jobs unrelated to finance,” he said after attending a Family Day event at Wisma Darul Iman.

Terengganu Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Said officiated the event. — Bernama
