{"id":86427,"date":"2021-08-02T09:45:56","date_gmt":"2021-08-02T01:45:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/buletinonlines.net\/v7\/?p=86427"},"modified":"2021-08-02T09:45:56","modified_gmt":"2021-08-02T01:45:56","slug":"pas-youth-wants-police-to-find-out-who-leaked-agongs-letter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buletinonlines.net\/v7\/index.php\/pas-youth-wants-police-to-find-out-who-leaked-agongs-letter\/","title":{"rendered":"PAS Youth Wants Police To Find Out Who Leaked Agong\u2019s Letter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The police must uncover the parties responsible for leaking a letter the Yang di-Pertuan Agong sent to the prime minister on Thursday regarding the revocation of the Emergency Ordinances, PAS Youth deputy chief Yb Ahmad Fadhli Shaari said yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>Ahmad Fadhil said PAS Youth has lodged a police report to trigger an investigation into the matter, and urged other members of the wing to follow suit.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPAS Youth views the matter seriously and urges the police to investigate it in order to identify the source of the leak.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA police report has been lodged to press for an investigation on whether there were elements of treachery and sabotage in the distribution of the letter.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/buletinonlines.net\/v7\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/E7q5oaOVEAMhSiA.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/buletinonlines.net\/v7\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/E7q5oaOVEAMhSiA.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"680\" height=\"680\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-86429\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A letter purportedly from the Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri\u2019ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, to Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin earlier this week regarding the revocation of the Emergency Ordinances was leaked online.<\/p>\n<p>Aside from PAS Youth today, the authenticity of the letter has not been established.<\/p>\n<p>The letter emerged after the Agong issued a public statement rebuking Minister in the Prime Minister\u2019s Department Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan for asserting in Parliament that the EOs were revoked on July 21.<\/p>\n<p>The Agong noted that the Federal Constitution required that he give royal assent before the EOs could be revoked, which he said he has yet to provide.<\/p>\n<p>The Prime Minister\u2019s Office later responded by saying both Muhyiddin and Takiyuddin acted constitutionally in the matter.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The police must uncover the parties responsible for leaking a letter the Yang di-Pertuan Agong sent to the prime minister on Thursday regarding the revocation of the Emergency Ordinances, PAS Youth deputy chief Yb Ahmad Fadhli Shaari said yesterday.
