Mahkamah Tinggi Shah Alam telah mengetepikan keputusan Mahkamah Koroner sebelum ini yang membenarkan bapa Allahyarham Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim untuk memulakan prosiding perintah komital iaitu dakwaan bahawa Peguam Negara, Tan Sri Tommy Thomas telah menghina Mahkamah. <\/p>\n

Ahli Jawatankuasa PAS Pusat Dato’ Dr. Mohd Khairuddin Aman Razali percaya bahawa keputusan ini belum membebaskan Peguam Negara daripada dakwaan menghina Mahkamah. <\/p>\n

\u201cKeluarga Allahyarham Adib masih mempunyai peluang untuk memfailkan rayuan ke Mahkamah Rayuan, jika mereka mendapati keputusan Hakim Mahkamah Tinggi hari ini adalah khilaf,\u201d jelasnya.<\/p>\n

Menurut beliau, sebelum ini, Tommy Thomas dianggap telah menghina Mahkamah kerana telah mengambil pendirian bahawa punca kematian Allahyarham Adib bukan kerana dipukul sebelum keputusan inkues dikeluarkan. <\/p>\n

\u201cHal ini dapat dilihat melalui afidavit yang difailkan yang memberi kesimpulan awal bahawa kematian Adib bukan sebab dipukul serta penamatan khidmat Puan Syazlin Mansor sebagai peguam Kementerian Perumahan dan Kerajaan Tempatan (KPKT) dan pihak Bomba,\u201d tambah beliau dalam satu kenyataan hari ini.<\/p>\n

Oleh itu, beliau menyeru, dalam apa keadaan sekalipun, agar semua pihak terus memberikan sokongan kepada keluarga Allahyarham Adib untuk meneruskan tindakan undang-undang. <\/p>\n

\u201cDalam keadaan masih tiada pendakwaan dimulakan terhadap mana-mana suspek, sekurang-kurangnya Allahyarham Adib perlu mendapat keadilan jika wujud campur tangan Peguam Negara untuk melengah-lengahkan pendakwaan dan menentukan keputusan inkues daripada awal lagi.<\/p>\n

\u201cPada masa yang sama, saya juga ingin mendesak supaya siasatan dan pendakwaan kes Allahyarham Adib ini dipercepatkan. Berapa lama lagi keluarga Allahyarham Adib perlu menunggu untuk pesalah dihadapkan ke muka pengadilan?,\u201d soal beliau.<\/p>\n

Justeru itu, beliau berharap, pihak berkuasa sedar bahawa rakyat di negara ini sentiasa mengikuti perkembangan isu Allahyarham Adib dari masa ke masa.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
