KUALA TERENGGANU: Terengganu will get 180 tonnes of sugar, which is sufficient for the whole month of Ramadan, state Domestic Trade, Cooperative and Consumerism Department deputy director Abdul Ghani Harun said.<\/p>\n

He said the sugar stock with wholesalers in Terengganu was at 132.903 tonnes currently.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is a balance of 142 tonnes of sugar at the factories, yet to be collected by wholesalers,\u201d he told reporters after inspecting sugar storage at several wholesalers here recently.<\/p>\n

He said there were 14 new retailers appointed under the consumer\u2019s choice programme in Terengganu \u2014 four each in Kuala Terengganu and Dungun, three in Kemaman, two in Besut and one in Setiu. – Bernama<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
