Kelantan Mentri Besar and state PAS commissioner Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat appointed a new secretary and treasurer in the state line-up.<\/p>\n

He appointed Pulai Chondong assemblyman Zulkifli Mamat (picture) as the new secretary to replace Mohd Zaki Ibrahim and Pengkalan Pasir assemblyman Hanapi Ahmad to replace senior exco member Datuk Anuar Tan Abdullah<\/span> as treasurer.<\/p>\n

Nik Aziz retained his three state deputies – Datuk Ahmad Yaakob<\/span> (deputy commissioner 1), Datuk Husam Musa<\/span> (deputy commissioner II) and Datuk Mohd Amar Abdullah<\/span> (deputy commissioner III).<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Kelantan has banned Utusan Malaysia<\/em> from covering official functions which involve Nik Aziz and the State Legislative Assembly sitting with immediate effect.<\/p>\n

The decision was made following the newspaper’s publication of a caricature that the party claimed to be an insult to Islam.<\/p>\n

The Mentri Besar’s press secretary Ahmad Fadhli Shaari said state speaker Datuk Mohd Nassuruddin Daud<\/span> would issue a letter on the ban by the end of this month.<\/p>\n

It was reported that PAS Youth had demanded an apology from the newspaper following its publication of a cartoon last Wednesday titled \u201cKekeliruan kes rogol <\/em>(Confusion in rape cases)\u201d.<\/p>\n
