PAS president Datuk Seri Tuan Guru Abdul Hadi Awang thanked Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah for retaining his party\u2019s three executive councillors in the PKR-led state government.<\/p>\n
In a brief statement, Abdul Hadi offered his deep gratitude to Sultan Sharafuddin for clarifying that the three PAS representatives will keep their positions for the remainder of their term, which expires in June next year.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am confident the three Selangor state executive council members and the 10 assemblymen from PAS will uphold His Highness\u2019 trust in them to maintain the stability of the Selangor government and to serve the people fairly and thoroughly,\u201d the Marang MP said.<\/p>\n
The three PAS executive councillors are Datuk Iskandar Samad, Datuk Dr Ahmad Yunus Hairi, and Zaidy Abdul Talib.<\/p>\n
PAS has 13 representatives in the 56-seat Selangor state legislative assembly, the same number as PKR, while DAP has 14 and Parti Amanah Negara, two; Umno has 12 and the remaining two seats are occupied by Independents.<\/p>\n
