Any parties attempting to \u201cundermine\u201d the stability of the Selangor state government are \u201cenemies\u201d of the state and of PKR, Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali said today.<\/p>\n
Azmin, who is Selangor Mentri Besar and PKR deputy president, did not refer to any individual or party in particular, but said that there are parties who are \u201cjealous\u201d of the success and stability of the state government.<\/p>\n
The Selangor administration comprising PKR, PAS and the DAP is under the spotlight after PAS decided to sever ties with PKR, raising questions about the status of the three serving PAS state executive councillors in the state administration, as well as the status of PAS representatives in forming the state government.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere are those who want to undermine our stability and success. We must defend our fort (Selangor),\u201d Azmin told PKR members while launching the PKR Youth and Wanita Congress here today.<\/p>\n
\u201cThese people are the traitors of the people\u2019s trust, and they are our enemies,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
At a press conference later, Azmin refused to state if his remarks were directed at any party in particular.<\/p>\n
He also reiterated that the Selangor state government was \u201cnot in crisis\u201d and once again dismissed reports that the state government might be toppled in the ongoing uncertainty.<\/p>\n
Azmin said that he would \u201cnot allow\u201d any other party or individual to hold PKR \u201cto ransom\u201d.<\/p>\n
