{"id":5341,"date":"2011-04-12T18:18:17","date_gmt":"2011-04-12T10:18:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/buletinonline.net\/v7\/index.php\/2011\/04\/policeman-and-brother-slashed-over-tortoise-misunderstanding\/"},"modified":"2011-04-12T18:18:17","modified_gmt":"2011-04-12T10:18:17","slug":"policeman-and-brother-slashed-over-tortoise-misunderstanding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buletinonlines.net\/v7\/index.php\/policeman-and-brother-slashed-over-tortoise-misunderstanding\/","title":{"rendered":"Policeman And Brother Slashed Over Tortoise Misunderstanding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>KUALA TERENGGANU<\/strong>, April 12 &#8211; A policeman and his brother were slashed by parang wielding men after some misunderstanding over a tortoise in Permaisuri, Setiu Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Setiu police chief DSP Rohaizat Abd Ani said the incident occured at 7.30pm when the policeman&#8217;s brother, 22, asked a girlfriend, 20s, to take care of his tortoise.<\/p>\n<p>He said suddenly two men believed to be her friends came and said they were unhappy with the security guard&#8217;s request.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They then assaulted him behind a supermarket. The victim then phoned his policeman brother who arrived minutes later and tried to rescue him.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Suddenly three men, two armed with parangs, came and slashed them.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Rohaizat said they suffered light injury to the eyes and wrists and lodged a police report.<\/p>\n<p>The five assailants escaped in a black Honda CRV toward the direction of Jertih.<\/p>\n<p>Police are tracking five men (in 20s and 30s) to help investigation under Section 353 of Penal Code.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212; BERNAMA<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KUALA TERENGGANU, April 12 &#8211; A policeman and his brother were slashed by parang wielding men after some misunderstanding over a tortoise in Permaisuri, Setiu Monday.
