{"id":48316,"date":"2016-08-17T22:42:39","date_gmt":"2016-08-17T14:42:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.buletinonline.net\/v7\/?p=48316"},"modified":"2016-08-17T23:08:49","modified_gmt":"2016-08-17T15:08:49","slug":"thanks-for-doing-nothing-ho-help-azizulhasni-tells-mb","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buletinonlines.net\/v7\/index.php\/thanks-for-doing-nothing-ho-help-azizulhasni-tells-mb\/","title":{"rendered":"Thanks\u2026 For Doing Nothing To Help, Azizulhasni tells MB"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In a sarcasm-laden Facebook post today, national cyclist Azizulhasni Awang who clinched the bronze for the keirin event at the Rio Olympics expressed thanks to Terengganu Mentri Besar Ahmad Razif Abd Rahman who had offered no state aid despite previous pleas.<\/p>\n<p>The pint-sized athlete who has been given the moniker \u201cPocket Rocket Man\u201d pointed out that Ahmad Razif had done little to help both he and fellow Terengganu native, another national cyclist Fatehah Mustapa in the course of their preparations for the Olympics.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo the Terengganu menteri besar Datuk Ahmad Razif, Fatehah and I still want to thank you though you refused to help me and Fatehah, both Terengganu natives who fought at the World and Olympic levels.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThank you for not buying us a \u2018Roadbike\u2019 for us to use in preparation for the Olympic Games despite a proposal being sent about a year ago prior to the Rio Olympics.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThank you too for not giving us any feedback and staying silent when my manager called you. For your knowledge Datuk MB, Fatehah and I who are world and Olympic-class athletes have always been overlooked by you Datuk MB. Maybe it is because of the fact that we trained overseas,\u201d Azizulhasni wrote on his Facebook page.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/buletinonline.net\/v7\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Screenshot-859.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-48318\" src=\"https:\/\/buletinonline.net\/v7\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Screenshot-859-300x181.png\" alt=\"Screenshot (859)\" width=\"300\" height=\"181\" \/><\/a>Both Azizulhasni and Fatehah have been training in Melbourne, Australia in preparation of the Games.<\/p>\n<p>However, Azizulhasni hoped Ahmad Razif would take the ribbing positively, expressing hope his criticism would help \u201copen the eyes\u201d of the authorities to look into their state athletes\u2019 welfare in future.<\/p>\n<p>Azizulhasni\u2019s remarks appear to be in response to Ahmad Razif\u2019s congratulatory message as reported by national news agency Bernama earlier today.<\/p>\n<p>The mentri besar said the state would reward the 28-year-old as an incentive for winning the medal to inspire others.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThank you Azizulhasni, who never tires in carrying the Malaysia spirit to the world stage. Thank you also to all the coaches and their families.
