{"id":47951,"date":"2016-08-06T19:24:25","date_gmt":"2016-08-06T11:24:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.buletinonline.net\/v7\/?p=47951"},"modified":"2016-08-06T19:24:25","modified_gmt":"2016-08-06T11:24:25","slug":"lpt2-jika-kemalangan-saman-pihak-berwajib","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buletinonlines.net\/v7\/index.php\/lpt2-jika-kemalangan-saman-pihak-berwajib\/","title":{"rendered":"LPT2: Jika Kemalangan, Saman Pihak Berwajib!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Oleh : Wan Mohd Faizul Wan Abas<\/p>\n<p>Pada 1 Julai 2015, Ketua Polis Terengganu menyatakan bahawa sejumlah 1657 kemalangan direkodkan berlaku di Lebuhraya Pantai Timur 2 sejak tahun 2011, dengan jumlah kematian sebanyak 58 orang. Ini merupakan jumlah yang paling tinggi antara lebuhraya-lebuhraya di seluruh Malaysia.<\/p>\n<p>Sebagai rakyat Malaysia, saya rasa bertanggungjawab memberitahu bahawa kita sebagai pengguna,  mempunyai hak untuk menyaman pihak berwajib jika kemalangan tersebut berpunca dari faktor kecacatan dan kelemahan pembinaan lebuhraya itu sendiri.<\/p>\n<p>Antara kecacatan tersebut yang pernah didedahkan oleh kami sebelum ini ialah permukaan jalan beralun akibat mendapan tanah tidak sekata (unequal settlement), lembu berkeliaran akibat pagar yang bolos tidak dibaiki segera,  pemantul cahaya yang tidak berfungsi dengan baik, sistem amaran\/peringatan jalan yang tidak mencukupi dan banyak lagi. <\/p>\n<p>Pernah seorang kawan memenangi kes saman PLUS kerana terlanggar serpihan tayar di tengah lebuhraya. Beliau mendapat gantirugi sebanyak RM5,500 setelah melalui proses saman selama lebih kurang tiga bulan.<\/p>\n<p>Justeru, GANTI menyeru kepada semua pengguna LPT2 agar sedar akan hak mereka sebagai pengguna.
