Kelantan mentri besar Datuk Ahmad Yaakob said that calls by PAS\u2019s political opponents to call for a statewide election was purely \u201cpolitical\u201d and that a lot of preparation was needed beforehand.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere is no proof that the people have lost trust in the PAS government in this state until we are desperate to call for a state election, it is best we follow other states if they want to call for elections,\u201d Sinar Harian quoted him as saying.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe still have a mandate, we are working hard to prioritise the people, perhaps (calls for state elections) are from a political perspective.<\/p>\n
\u201cPAS is still continuing its work in the state government,\u201d Ahmad added.<\/p>\n
