{"id":45150,"date":"2016-04-30T14:09:11","date_gmt":"2016-04-30T06:09:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.buletinonline.net\/v7\/?p=45150"},"modified":"2016-04-30T12:12:27","modified_gmt":"2016-04-30T04:12:27","slug":"no-pas-umno-pact-in-terengganu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buletinonlines.net\/v7\/index.php\/no-pas-umno-pact-in-terengganu\/","title":{"rendered":"No PAS-Umno Pact In Terengganu"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KUALA NERUS &#8211; PAS president Datuk Seri Tuan Guru Abdul Hadi Awang asserted today that the Islamic party would not join forces with Umno in the troubled state of Terengganu.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the formation of such a unity government should not merely be a decision borne out of necessity but instead an intentional move.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo way!\u201d he said when asked if PAS and Umno would form a unity government in Terengganu.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/buletinonline.net\/v7\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_20160430_120425.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-45151\" src=\"https:\/\/buletinonline.net\/v7\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_20160430_120425-300x172.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_20160430_120425\" width=\"300\" height=\"172\" \/><\/a>\u201cThe reason (to form a unity government) has to be sincere, not because of a state of emergency. This state of emergency, cannot,\u201d he said after attending a dinner oergansed by Kumpulan Aktivis Media Indipenden (KAMI) here at Tok Jembal, last night.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, national newswire Bernama reported a statement issued by the Comptroller of the Royal Household, Office of His Royal Highness the Sultan of Terengganu, that Terengganu Mentri Besar Ahmad Razif Abd Rahman\u2019s titles were stripped.<\/p>\n<p>No reasons were given but the statement sparked speculation on possible changes in the state leadership.<\/p>\n<p>However the Malay Mail Online reported on Thursday that several elected representatives agreed that the decision was no surprise and was a long time coming.<\/p>\n<p>PAS has repeatedly denied that it will form a pact with Umno amid speculation over the Islamic party\u2019s warming ties with its political rival, but insisted that it will cooperate with the ruling party on non-political issues.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KUALA NERUS &#8211; PAS president Datuk Seri Tuan Guru Abdul Hadi Awang asserted today that the Islamic party would not join forces with Umno in the troubled state of Terengganu.
