Clogged drains and water cannot flow smoothly can cause stagnant water and breed mosquitoes. Drainage problems that are not built very well not only can lead to clogged drains and even may cause flash floods when heavy rainy season.

Residents of Kampung Pujut Padang Kerbau and Pujut Tanjung Batu complained this issue to us during a visit to the village. There are some places only in part are constructed using concrete ditch and the remaining are not completed this cause clogged drains and the water cannot flow smoothly.

When heavy rain causing flash floods in their neighborhood because the water cannot flow smoothly. Why the authorities only build a partial concrete ditch only and do not fully complete to their residential affected area.

We urge the relevant authorities to complete the drainage project in all residential areas in Kampung Pujut to avoid a flash flood.

With a perfect drainage system it may also prevent mosquito breeding and prevent the occurrence of a flash flood in the housing area. Health and safety of the housing residents in Kampung Pujut should be given priority so that they can live comfortably and safely. Cooperation with the relevant authorities in matters of irrigation and drainage is greatly appreciated.

Yours faithfully
