\u201cI support the Syura Council\u2019s decision if the cooperation is for the good of the ummah.<\/p>\n
\u201cHowever, it does not mean that the party will join that coalition,\u201d he told The Star.<\/p>\n
The decision by the council, which serves as the policy advisory body for PAS, came after recent talk of cooperation between Umno and PAS on common issues affecting religion and the nation\u2019s Muslim community.<\/p>\n
