A senior citizen in Kampung Gatas at Bungai, Bekenu needs attention from the welfare because she faces problems to move around due to stroke a few months ago. She’s getting older and also have the disease caused her feel pain when she tried to move.<\/p>\n
Mrs. Tamah Bt Khair a senior citizen in her late 60s who looked after by her daughter-in-law, son along with grandchildren stayed at Kampung Gatas a village of Bungai. She is also the aunt of one of the elected representative in Dun Sibuti Parliamentary. According aunty Tamah, she get stroke while visiting her son at a farm where her son worked. Since she get stroke, half of her body hard to move and she just lay in her room. <\/p>\n
Recently PAS Miri has visited and contributed a wheelchair to help her move in and out of her bedroom taking fresh air outdoors. At the beginning of the stroke half of her body paralyzed and too difficult to move and now Thanks Allah there are a few changes.<\/p>\n
With the wheelchair at least it easy for her family members bring her out for a walk, taking a fresh breeze off the coast near her home on the shore of Bungai.<\/p>\n
We urge the government and the welfare organizations to continue to support and assist her in her daily life to bear the costs for the purchase of medicines and so on. Her health is noteworthy so that she quickly recovered and can walk again as usual.<\/p>\n
It is the responsibility of the relevant authorities to assist senior citizens who need welfare assistance and health. They are the ones who really need help and we hope that the budget allocated for this target group can be enjoyed by those who are supposed to be.<\/p>\n
We hope that the problems of the people who need welfare assistance and health should be given priority by the government, which was given the mandate by the people.<\/p>\n
