Every time close to the election season, we always listen to the BN (Barisan Nasional) promised to allocate billions of ringgit to upgrade roads in Sarawak.<\/p>\n

Recently the Federal Government under the 10th Malaysia Plan (10MP) approves a development grant of about RM3.46 million for the three areas of Legislative Assembly (DUN) Piasau N.63, N.64 Pujut and N.65 Senadin. According Legislative Assembly (DUN) Senadin, Datuk Lee Kim Shin said that provision approved by the Miri City Council is to implement the project improving and construction of village roads and residential areas around Miri all this year round.<\/p>\n

We found that there is still a village road around Miri that still bad and not entirely paved although it is many times the budget allocation provided for projects to improve and construction of village roads and residential areas.<\/p>\n

\"Jalan<\/a>There are some rural roads or residential areas paved half-way. Why the parties concerned are only choose certain places to paved roads with tar while the road which should be paved not fully paved with tar. Many villagers and housing residents who are dissatisfied with the way of the relevant authorities manage the provision of the road projects by selecting a particular place where as many other bad road and need to be improved until now have not been upgraded.<\/p>\n

We urge the relevant authorities immediately repairing roads that should be upgraded such as the farm roads in the village of Pujut Padang Kerbau, Tukau Jaya village road and around housing in Tudan as well as rural roads around Miri city in dire need a good road should be given priority. The provision of village roads and housing is to be used solely for the convenience of the villagers so that they can enjoy the provisions that have been approved without the need to wait for the promise of the next election.<\/p>\n

This is all for the benefit of the people, not for the sake of political parties that only use that provision as a decoy to attract the support of the people alone. Such provisions are citizens’ rights regardless of race, religion and political affiliation as the government requires all citizens to pay taxes and GST, regardless of political affiliation.<\/p>\n

The task of the government and those concerned only perform the tasks entrusted by the people not doing the job of a certain political party. Any parties that were chosen to be the government are responsible for implementing the mandate of the people, not in the interests of certain political parties.<\/p>\n

We hope that the above problems can be addressed immediately, regardless of time because of people’s rights should be given priority. Cooperation with the relevant authorities to address the problems of the people with immediate effect is greatly appreciated.<\/p>\n
