{"id":30864,"date":"2015-02-25T10:00:33","date_gmt":"2015-02-25T02:00:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.buletinonline.net\/v7\/?p=30864"},"modified":"2015-02-25T06:41:34","modified_gmt":"2015-02-24T22:41:34","slug":"admin-assistant-fined-rm11000-falsifying-receipts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buletinonlines.net\/v7\/index.php\/admin-assistant-fined-rm11000-falsifying-receipts\/","title":{"rendered":"Admin Assistant Fined RM11,000 For Falsifying Receipts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KUALA TERENGGANU &#8211; A Dungun District Office administrative assistant was fined a total of RM11,000 by the Kuala Terengganu Sessions Court Tuesday on two counts of falsifying receipts of the Terengganu state government.<\/p>\n<p>For the first charge, Judge Murtazadi Amran fined the accused, Mazita Ngah, 50, RM4,000 in default six months jail and for the second charge, RM7,000 in default another six months&#8217; jail.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/buletinonline.net\/v7\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/mahkamah-tinggi-kuala-terengganu.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-20639 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/buletinonline.net\/v7\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/mahkamah-tinggi-kuala-terengganu-300x191.jpg\" alt=\"mahkamah tinggi kuala terengganu\" width=\"300\" height=\"191\" \/><\/a>According to the facts, Mazita had randomly selected a Cluster Land Plan (RTB) file to produce copies of the receipts.<\/p>\n<p>The accused had taken two of receipts in the name of Samsuriyah Alias as the payments made by Samsuriyah on Nov 22, 2011 were the same amounts as should have been made by the accused&#8217;s daughter, Nurul Fatinah Zulkifli.<\/p>\n<p>Mazita later photostated copies of the two receipts, for RM230 and RM4,550 respectively, and entered the two photostated copies into the file of Samsuriyah.<\/p>\n<p>Investigations found the accused had infringed Section 463 which is punishable under Section 465 of the Penal Code for falsifying the two miscellaneous land tax receipts in her daughter&#8217;s name when she did not pay to the Dungun District Land Office.<\/p>\n<p>On Feb 10, in the same court, the accused had pleaded guilty to the two charges.<\/p>\n<p>The prosecution was conducted by Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) deputy public prosecutor Farah Yasmin Salleh while the accused was represented by counsel Ahmad Fairuz Jusoh of the National Legal Aid Foundation.- Bernama<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KUALA TERENGGANU &#8211; A Dungun District Office administrative assistant was fined a total of RM11,000 by the Kuala Terengganu Sessions Court Tuesday on two counts of falsifying receipts of the Terengganu state government.
