{"id":3080,"date":"2010-07-30T07:54:02","date_gmt":"2010-07-29T23:54:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/buletinonline.net\/v7\/index.php\/2010\/07\/form-three-student-badly-injured-after-kidnap-attempt-goes-awry\/"},"modified":"2010-07-30T07:54:02","modified_gmt":"2010-07-29T23:54:02","slug":"form-three-student-badly-injured-after-kidnap-attempt-goes-awry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buletinonlines.net\/v7\/index.php\/form-three-student-badly-injured-after-kidnap-attempt-goes-awry\/","title":{"rendered":"Form Three Student Badly Injured After Kidnap Attempt Goes Awry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/buletinonline.net\/v7\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/jenayah.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"http:\/\/buletinonline.net\/images\/stories\/berita30\/jenayah.jpg\" style=\"float: left;\" \/><span style=\"font-family: arial; font-size: x-small;\"><strong>BESUT <\/strong>&#8211; A form three student was seriously injured after a kidnapping attempt went awry in Kampung Limbongan here yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>In the 4.30pm incident, the girl was abducted by two men near the entrance of her school but the kidnappers&#8217; car skidded and crashed about a kilometre away.<\/p>\n<p>The duo, one 23 years and the other a 15-year-old school drop out, both from here, were nabbed by police about three hours later.<\/p>\n<p>Besut police chief, DSP Noor Zainy Md Noor said a teacher who witnessed the incident alerted the police.<\/p>\n<p>The girl put up a fight in the car causing the driver to lose control before it skidded and crashed into a ditch, he told reporters here Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The girl sustained serious injuries and was sent to the Besut Hospital before being transferred to the Kubang Kerian Hospital in Kota Baharu.<\/p>\n<p>Noor Zainy said the suspects managed to flee but police caught up with them at a house in Kampung Alor Jejawi, about five kilometres from the scene of the incident, following a public tip-off.<\/p>\n<p>Noor Zainy said police believed rape was the motive and that the same two suspects had tried to kidnap the victim once before, but also had failed.<\/p>\n<p>In KOTA BAHARU, the girl&#8217;s father when approached by reporters at the hospital, said although his daughter had to suffer injuries, he was glad she did not fall prey to the kidnappers.<\/p>\n<p>He said he rushed to Kota Baharu as soon as he got news of what had happened.-BERNAMA<br \/><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BESUT &#8211; A form three student was seriously injured after a kidnapping attempt went awry in Kampung Limbongan here yesterday.
