{"id":2933,"date":"2010-07-17T18:24:43","date_gmt":"2010-07-17T10:24:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/buletinonline.net\/v7\/index.php\/2010\/07\/absence-of-four-setiu-assemblymen-reflects-poorly-on-terengganu-umno\/"},"modified":"2010-07-17T18:24:43","modified_gmt":"2010-07-17T10:24:43","slug":"absence-of-four-setiu-assemblymen-reflects-poorly-on-terengganu-umno","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buletinonlines.net\/v7\/index.php\/absence-of-four-setiu-assemblymen-reflects-poorly-on-terengganu-umno\/","title":{"rendered":"Absence Of Four Setiu Assemblymen Reflects Poorly On Terengganu Umno"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/buletinonline.net\/v7\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/4adundicemuh.gif\" border=\"0\" alt=\"http:\/\/buletinonline.net\/images\/stories\/berita29\/4adundicemuh.gif\" style=\"float: right;\" \/>KEMAMAN, July 17 (Bernama) &#8212; Four elected representatives from the  Setiu constituency who did not attend the Umno division&#8217;s delegates  meeting yesterday are asked to give priority to party matters instead of  petty issues.<\/p>\n<p> Umno Supreme Council member Datuk Ahmad Shabery Cheek said they should  sit together to resolve matters arising instead of taking action that  eventually gave a negative picture on the state Umno.<\/p>\n<p> Expressing shock and disappointment at the incident, he said their  action gave the impression that they were not placing importance to the  party because the meeting was opened by Umno deputy president Tan Sri  Muhyiddin Yassin.<\/p>\n<p> He disclosed this to Bernama at a gathering of the people with the  leader at the grassroots level for the Kemaman Umno division, here  Saturday.<\/p>\n<p> Ahmad Shabery, who is also the Youth and Sports Minister, said this  when asked to comment of the absence of the four assemblymen, Ramlan Ali  (Jabi), Abd Halim Jusoh (Permaisuri), Asha&#8217;ari Idris (Langkap), and  Khazan Che Mat (Batu Rakit) at the delegates meeting.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;Whatever excuse they may give, when the Deputy Prime Minister comes to  officiate at the meeting, such action can be perceived as a boycott,&#8221;  he said.<\/p>\n<p> The Setiu Umno delegates conference yesterday afternoon was also  attended by the Setiu Member of Parliament, Datuk Mohd Jidin Shafie who  is also the Setiu Umno division head, and the Besut Umno division head,  Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh.<\/p>\n<p> &#8212; BERNAMA<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KEMAMAN, July 17 (Bernama) &#8212; Four elected representatives from the Setiu constituency who did not attend the Umno division&#8217;s delegates meeting yesterday are asked to give priority to party matters instead of petty issues.
