{"id":2584,"date":"2010-05-31T10:24:16","date_gmt":"2010-05-31T02:24:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/buletinonline.net\/v7\/index.php\/2010\/05\/ahmadinejad-slams-israel-convoy-attack\/"},"modified":"2010-05-31T10:24:16","modified_gmt":"2010-05-31T02:24:16","slug":"ahmadinejad-slams-israel-convoy-attack","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buletinonlines.net\/v7\/index.php\/ahmadinejad-slams-israel-convoy-attack\/","title":{"rendered":"Ahmadinejad slams Israel convoy attack"},"content":{"rendered":"<table border=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<div class=\"imgSrc\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.presstv.ir\/photo\/20100531\/amirisefat20100531095002733.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><span id=\"ctl00_body_spnBody\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"newsDetailBody\">Iran  has condemned Israel&#8217;s deadly attack on a flotilla carrying thousands of  tons of supplies for Gaza, calling the regime in Tel Aviv a threat to  global peace and security. <\/p>\n<p>Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad rejected the notion on Monday  that the Israeli raid on the Freedom Flotilla was indicative of Tel  Aviv&#8217;s military muscle, explaining further that it was a mere symbol of  its weakness.  <\/p>\n<p>President Ahmadinejad said Israel was &#8220;fabricated not only with the  aim of gaining control over the Middle East but also over the entire  world.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>Calling for international efforts to save the Palestinian nation,  the Iranian president said, &#8220;Supporting the people of Palestine is equal  to supporting peace and freedom of every nation.&#8221;  <\/p>\n<p>In separate remarks, Secretary of Iran&#8217;s Supreme National Security  Council Saeed Jalili also blasted Israel for the deadly attack and  called it a sign of Israeli weakness.  <\/p>\n<p>Jalili went on to say that the convoy raid proved US President  Barack Obama&#8217;s &#8216;peace plan&#8217; for the Middle East as a &#8220;cheat.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Spokesman for the Iranian Parliament&#8217;s National Security  and Foreign Policy Commission Kazem Jalali described the fatal attack by  Israel on the Gaza aid convoy a &#8220;war crime.&#8221;  <\/p>\n<p>Jalali also criticized Tel Aviv for being a &#8220;threat to global  security.&#8221;  <\/p>\n<p>The condemnations come after Israeli forces launched an early  morning attack on the international aid fleet en route to the besieged  Gaza Strip, killing at least 20 people and leaving scores injured. <\/p>\n<p>GHN\/CS\/MMA<\/p><\/div>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<div><span id=\"ctl00_body_spnRelatedNews\"> <\/span><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Iran has condemned Israel&#8217;s deadly attack on a flotilla carrying thousands of tons of supplies for Gaza, calling the regime in Tel Aviv a threat to global peace and security.
