Asian Federation of Muslim Youth (AFMY) condemns the Egyptian court’s ruling which imposed capital punishment on the 529 members of the Ikhwanul Muslimin which includes the Mursyid \u2018Am Sheikh Mohamed Badi\u2019e accused of rampage by the army last year for their support for the legally elected Egypt President, Dr. Mohamed Morsi.<\/p>\n

\"Abu<\/a>The ruling is a violation of democracy in Egypt and abuses\u00a0 the rights, justice and dignity of the Egyptian people.\u00a0History has proven that for decades Ikhwanul Muslimin has always been suppressed and\u00a0 many of their members have been jailed and murdered due to the ruthlessness\u00a0 of\u00a0 Egypt rulers such as Jamal Abdul Nasser and Anwar Sadat.<\/p>\n

AFMY urges all youth organizations and Muslim students\u2019 societies\u00a0 all AFMYover Asia to rise and condemn this horrendous\u00a0 decision by sending petitions to the Egyptian embassies in their respective countries<\/p>\n
