Manoharan said the post-mortem on Wan Hariff Rafany Wan Muda\u2019s body found no physical injuries or signs of foul play.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHowever, the case is still under investigation. The police have set up a task force to probe the matter and his family members and acquaintances will be questioned,\u201d said ACP Manoharan yesterday.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/buletinonline.net\/v7\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/mayat-wan-hariff.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-20287 alignright\" alt=\"mayat wan hariff\" src=\"https:\/\/buletinonline.net\/v7\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/mayat-wan-hariff-300x212.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"212\" \/><\/a>The case, he said, had been classified as sudden death.<\/p>\n<p>Wan Hariff Rafany, 35, went missing after leaving his home in Kuala Ibai here on Friday morning.<\/p>\n<p>His 33-year-old wife lodged a missing persons report the next day, and the police found his Audi A4 parked near the Syarikat Air Terengganu Sdn Bhd office in Kuala Berang at 9pm that day.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, some teenagers fishing at Sungai Kampung Tajin, about 5km from the car\u2019s location, spotted Wan Hariff Rafany\u2019s body floating in the river.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the bloated condition of the body, the police said it had been in the river for over 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p>Wan Hariff Rafany was attached with the land acquisition unit of the Kuala Terengganu land office.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KUALA TERENGGANU: The state land officer whose body was found in a river in Hulu Terengganu after going missing for three days died from drowning, an autopsy revealed.
