Arab Saudi, Turkiye, dan Pakistan secara rasmi memeterai ‘Perjanjian Pertahanan Bersama Makkah’ dalam satu persidangan kemuncak bersejarah yang berlangsung di Istana Al-Safa, di sini, semalam.<\/p>\n
Pakatan keselamatan kolektif tiga negara Islam terbesar itu menetapkan prinsip ketat bahawa sebarang serangan bersenjata terhadap salah satu negara anggota akan dianggap sebagai serangan ke atas kesemuanya.<\/p>\n
Sidang kemuncak luar biasa tersebut dihadiri oleh Putera Mahkota yang juga Perdana Menteri Arab Saudi, Mohammed bin Salman; Presiden Turkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan; dan Perdana Menteri Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.<\/p>\n
Komitmen padu pertahanan itu dizahirkan sendiri oleh Putera Mahkota Mohammed bin Salman dalam ucapan perasmiannya yang menekankan peri pentingnya perpaduan strategik demi kestabilan sejagat.<\/p>\n
“Perjanjian ini bukan sekadar memorandum persefahaman, tetapi satu ikrar persaudaraan yang utuh. Kami berdiri teguh bersama sebagai satu saf yang tidak boleh digoyahkan demi mempertahankan kedaulatan dan keamanan serantau,” tegas Putera Mahkota Mohammed bin Salman semasa majlis menandatangani perjanjian berkenaan.<\/p>\n
Melalui kenyataan bersama yang dikeluarkan oleh agensi berita rasmi ketiga-tiga negara, perjanjian strategik itu memberi tumpuan khusus kepada aspek pertahanan kolektif, pencegahan bersama, serta memperluas kerjasama ketenteraan dan perkongsian maklumat perisikan.<\/p>\n
Langkah drastik ini diambil susulan ketegangan geopolitik yang semakin meruncing di rantau Asia Barat sejak awal tahun ini, yang turut menjejaskan keselamatan rantaian tenaga global.<\/p>\n
Bagaimanapun, jurucakap rasmi bagi sidang kemuncak tersebut menegaskan bahawa pakatan tentera ini bersifat defensif sepenuhnya. <\/p>\n
