Although Pakatan Rakyat is no more, PAS has revived its call for the Opposition to be united, in light of a number of controversies plaguing the nation.

Its deputy president Datuk Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man (pic) said there was no better time for the Opposition to set aside its differences and unite on common ground.

“The country now needs a total change, not just a change of its prime minister or several ministers, the whole administration needs to be replaced.

“Now, this is a crucial time for all the opposition parties to be united. It is time for us to sit together and find for our common ground and set aside our differences. We can look for new formulas,” he said in a Facebook posting, Tuesday night.

“The people are tired and fed up of squabbling politicians. There must be a new formula to build an understanding.

“Let us all set aside our dissenting views and save the country together,” he said, amid suggestions that a new opposition front would be set up.
