Terengganu police detain suspect with 1,773 ‘Pil Kuda’ in Kuala Besut

BESUT: Terengganu police detained a 27-year-old drug trafficker with 1,773 methamphetamine pills (pil kuda), weighing 170.34 grams, in front of a house in Kampung Kemunting, Kuala Besut at about 7.15pm on Sunday.

The pills, packed in nine blue coloured packets and wrapped in newspapers was found in a Proton Waja car that belonged to the suspect.

Besut police chief Supt Khaled Che Lah said the suspect, a man, was detained following investigations involving two university students who were detained with 988 Yaba pills by the Kemaman Narcotics division.

“Police also seized RM720, believed to have been proceeds from the sales of drugs,” he told reporters, here today. – Bernama
