KUALA TERENGGANU – The Terenganu government has become the new owner of Kelantan-based Manis FM radio station after buying over Husa Network Sdn Bhd from an individual.
Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Said said the radio station which operates from Lorong Manis, Jalan Sultan Yahya Petra in Kota Baru, Kelantan was bought three months ago.
“We received a licence to broadcast in the sgtates of Terengganu, Kelantan and Pahang and can also go national.
“Despite operating from Kelantan, the radio station has started broadcasting news on Terengganu and the East Coast,” he told reporters after the Exco meeting here.
After all preparation is ready, the radio station which still retains the name Manis FM will transfer operation to a new studio next to Wisma Darul Iman here.– BERNAMA
