KUALA TERENGGANU – Supporters and die-hard fans of the Terengganu football team want the Terengganu Football Association President Datuk Che Mat Jusoh to step down.
The fans have started a campaign to vent their anger on Che Mat by pasting the President’s posters displaying the words ABC (Asal Bukan Che Mat) and crossing his face with an ‘X’ to show their displeasure.
Fans through Facebook postings urged the President to step down because he had allegedly lost his credibility and thus not relevant to the development of football in Terengganu.
A die-hard fan, Khairuddin Ismail, 37, said since he had held on to the post for a long time, it was about time he stepped down.
“As faithful fans of the team, we are grateful for what he has done but the time has come for more vibrant leaders to take charge and map the team’s progress.- BERNAMA
