KUALA TERENGGANU – T-Team coach Yunus Alif is definitely taking a break from football next season – irrespective of whether T-Team are disbanded or not.
Yunus said that tomorrow’s Malaysia Cup Group D match against Pahang will be his swan song “as I will not renew my contract when it expires at the end of the season”.
“I just want to take a break from football.
“I have been a player and a coach for so long … I need to recharge my batteries,” he said at the team’s training session yesterday.
“I have done my best for the team and now I just want to take a break. I hope the team can improve … I really believe in the team.”
Although T-Team have no chance of qualifying for the quarter-finals of the Malaysia Cup, Yunus wants his men to beat Pahang and “notch a win in my last match in charge”.
