PETALING JAYA: Police detained six Umno Youth leaders over the protest outside the DAP headquarters. The leaders, among them from the Federal Territories, Cheras and Bandar Tun Razak divisions, were detained when they reported at the Wangsa Maju station at 2pm.
All six were released several hours later. Police are investigating the incident as criminal intimidation.
A group of Umno Youth members had gathered outside the DAP headquarters in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday to protest against a remark allegedly made by Seri Delima assemblman R.S.N Rayer, threatening to burn down the building.
