Myanmar Man On The Run After Suspected Of Stabbing Countryman

KUALA NERUS – Police are looking for a Myanmar man suspected of stabbing his fellow countryman near a house in Kampung Bukit Tok Beng, here this morning, Tuesday 217 December.

The incident took place around 10.30am. A scuffle between the two led to one of them being stabbed in the stomach. The drama was witnessed by a schoolboy, who said he saw the two men fighting, and one of them slumped over in a pool of blood shortly after.

District police chief Assistant Commissioner Idris Abdul Rafar said the victim, who is a labourer, was sent to the Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital. Police are now tracking down the suspect, who is believed to have fled the scene on a motorcycle.
