KUALA TERENGGANU, Jan 29 (Bernama) — Wali Band, a renowned creative pop music group of Indonesia, is to be invited to conduct a concert tour in four districts in Terengganu in March.
Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Said said the group was selected because the elements of art and music in its performance can educate the community through the concept of devotional songs and “nasyid” rhythms.
“We hope this approach can attract youths to gather and interact in positive ways,” he told reporters here today.

Ahmad said the first of the free concerts will be held in Kemaman, and will be followed by the others in Besut, Hulu Terengganu and Kuala Terengganu.
The dates and locations of the concerts will be announced later, he added.– BERNAMA
